BrandR law firm advised RK-GAMES LLC on preparation, execution, and recordation of the license agreement for the ROYAL trademark (Certificate No. 303936, Class 41), used for gaming, gambling, and entertainment services. The license was granted on a non-exclusive basis to VIN GAMES LLC for use within the territory of Ukraine.
The scope of work included drafting a legally sound license agreement compliant with the requirements of the Ukrainian Intellectual Property Office (UIPTO) for registration, as well as protecting the licensor’s brand standards through clear quality control, territorial definition, and termination provisions. The license allowed trademark use in a wide range of digital and offline gaming contexts, including advertising and domain names.
BrandR successfully secured the subsequent recordation of the license agreement with UIPTO, ensuring its legal validity and public record. The registered license formalized commercial relations between the parties and reinforced the trademark’s legal status in the IP system of Ukraine.
